Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join our team and play a pivotal role in supporting our rapid expansion. Reporting directly to the Head of HR, the Senior HR Advisor will be responsible for providing expert guidance on all HR matters, managing one junior advisor, and spearheading initiatives to support our company's growth and development. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor our junior HR advisor, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure their professional growth and development. Delegate tasks effectively, monitor performance, and foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  2. Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, handling complex HR issues and providing guidance on matters such as disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution. Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies while promoting a positive and inclusive work culture.
  3. Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate the delivery of learning initiatives to enhance employee skills and capabilities. Partner with department heads to develop career progression pathways and succession plans, enabling employees to reach their full potential within the organisation.
  4. HR Analytics and Reporting: Utilise HR data and analytics to track key metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement. Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management to assess HR performance and inform decision-making.
  5. Compliance and Policy Development: Stay informed about relevant employment laws and regulations, ensuring that HR policies and practices are compliant and up-to-date. Develop and revise HR policies and procedures as necessary to reflect best practices and support the evolving needs of the organisation.
  6. Assisting in the submission of our Dublin payroll to our recognised payroll bureau.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred but not essential as experience will also be considered.
  • Proven experience three years as an HR advisor or similar role in the hospitality industry, with a track record of successfully managing HR functions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve excellence.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust at all levels of the organisation.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities, with a high level of integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and IT systems; experience with HR analytics tools is a plus.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
